Unknown filmmaker Change / 2007 [45 seconds] [commercial advertisement]
In the 2007 Levi Strauss & Co. add titled “Change,” a handsome young
gay man pulls up his denims only to discover that it simultaneously lifts up
another gay boy at a telephone booth looking directly in on him.
There are a couple of
versions in this brief 45-second advertisement, the full version of which is
the most satisfying since the young man who is pulling up his pants also soon
discovers, as he again lowers his jeans, that when he fully pulls them up he
has literally exploded himself into the same space as the beautiful
telephone-booth voyeur, and can merrily join hands with him and walk away in
the dark foggy evening, presumably for a wild night of sex.
It appears that San
Francisco-based Levi delivered boys up even faster than Grindr in that year.
The Bartle Bogle Hegarty agency
put together this sexy ad, which was highly awarded in 2007.
