Peter de Rome | Green Thoughts / 1972

making love in the conservatory

by Douglas Messerli

Peter de Rome (director) Green Thoughts / 1972

Green Thoughts is another of Peter de Rome’s rather silly films of the early 1970s, wherein a young man, beginning in an almost black-and-white-space suddenly peers from his window at the world around him, slips on a lime green shirt, and runs into nature, hugging trees, and basically making love to the natural world around him.

Campily, Derek Turner quickly gets a hard-on in the natural world and suddenly discovers in the midst of the jungle-like environment of Kew Gardens discovers an ornate spiral stair-case to into a paradise of drooping pinecones, palms, and other testicular-like foliage which further helps along his erection we see developing in his tighty-whities.

Before we know it, he’s pulled out his log from his underwear and is rubbing his cock in hopes of the same kind of sappy excretion that he observes in the flora which with his has just engaged.

And sure enough, after a several dozen rubbings of his hand over cock, along with the tactile and fetishistic massaging of his cotton green shirt upon his chest, Derek joins nature with a sappy, happy ejaculation, turning him, naturally, into a nature boy.

This is one of de Rome’s most ridiculous early porno works, providing pleasure only to those we can’t wait to see the newest de Rome model get it off.
